Better traffic-signal coordination, reliable YRT/Viva service, improved road planning, and safer walking and cycling options. Smart City technology can help reduce congestion and improve traffic flow.
03 — SMART CITY — BETTER SERVICES
Using data and practical technology to improve City services, transportation and infrastructure planning for a more efficient and connected Vaughan.
04 — RENEWABLE ENERGY & SUSTAINABILITY
Supporting sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy and responsible planning to build a cleaner, greener and more resilient Vaughan.
05 — SAFER, INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES
Supporting police, fire and paramedic services, safer roads and school zones, well-maintained public spaces, and accessible programs for youth, seniors, families and people with disabilities.
